Tool and Usage
Vuls is a vulnerability scanner for Linux and FreeBSD. It is written in Go, agentless, and does a remote login to find any software vulnerabilities.
The Vuls project started early in 2016. It gained direct momentum on GitHub in the number of stars and issues created.
Usage and audience
Vuls is commonly used for system hardening or vulnerability scanning. Target users for this tool are pentesters, security professionals, and system administrators.
