Why this tool?
DarkJPEG can help people to hide sensitive data in places where internet censorship is enforced. The service takes additional measures to even hide the fact that it has data embedded in the output file.
How it works
DarkJPEG uses SHA3 key generation with AES256 encryption. The images to store the data are called containers. One can choose to use a random container, which will use a random picture of Wikipedia. It is also possible to create a random image or use one of your own.
